The Frédéric Mistral bedroom

 

The most famous poet in Provence, Frédéric Mistral celebrated the beautiful scenery of the Alpilles mountains or the Camargue plain.  He restored the Provençal language and brought it to the highest of epic poetry. Frédéric Mistral received the Nobel Prize of Literature in 1904. This bedroom like the others is decorated with Provençal furniture, and colorful bedspreads in traditional « boutis » of Provence.
